Our first stop in Australia was Sydney. Sydney sits around a series of inlets. Sailboats, a magificent bridge, and of course, the opera house make it quite scenic. It is relatively clean and safe when compared to other big cities.

The Opera House (in the first picture) is an icon of Sydney. After visiting and walking around, I have to say it is quite stunning. It's bold arching lines are quite dramatic. We watched an opera called, "The Pearlfishers." It was wonderful.

Sydney also has a nice big park that we enjoyed on a sunny afternoon.
