Thailand is probably my and Andrea's favorite place to vacation in Southeast Asia. Bangkok is a busy, exciting (if a bit messy) metropolis that keeps you on your toes. We also took a trip to Phuket with our good friends, Rick and Joni. Phuket has beautiful beaches and stunning cliffs.

Haggling for everything from souvenirs to taxi fares is part of the charm of Thailand. It's great because it forces more interaction with the locals.

And with all the activities, from elephant treks to seeing Buddhist Wats to just plain exploring, Thailand is never dull.
