The care takers have restored some of the temples so that they are close to their original glory. Then, some are left as they were found, with the jungle completely growing over them. Ta Prohm is one of the latter. Visitors get to experience the wonder that one might have felt when one first found these ruins out in the middle of the dense jungle.

Archways are crumbling. Tree roots are lifting the walkway stone blocks.

Many trees grow right on top of the old stone structures.
