Bintan is an island in Indonesia that is just a forty minute ferry ride from Singapore. Resorts occupy a large part of the island making it a popular get away from the big city of Singapore.

So, we took part in the resort experience as well. The resort where we stayed had a small restaurant by the pool and of course, lots of dense vegetation. We went bike riding and ocean kayaking.

The second picture shows a tiny crab that lives on the beach. He's about fifty grains of sand long. They were well camouflaged and very fast.
