French Quarter

The French Quarter was a great place to see lots of old architecture. I was reminded of the way that the streets of Prague were so well preserved. It wasn't just an interesting building here and there. Many city blocks are lined with buildings that have cast iron railings on balconies overlooking the street.

Bourbon street is where the partiers go. We just passed through since our days in the the college party scene are long behind us.

Royal Street had lots of antique shops and interesting art galleries.
