We took a summer vacation and went camping at Lake Chelan which is in the middle of Washington state. The first picture shows us in front of the lake. The lake is fed by many glaciers; So it's nice clear cool water for swimming in the heat of central Washingtons hot summers. It is the deepest gorge in the state.

We rented a pop up trailer camper for the week. It was nice to camp and have a flat surface with a mattress to sleep on at night. The state campground had a big fun playground and a convenience store as well as access to the beach.

While we were in Chelan, there was a Bach festival. As part of the festival, we saw a concert by some childrens groups. Alex danced while the marimba band played.
