Seattle

We finally made the time to start exploring Seattle. Of course, the first thing to do was visit the iconic Space Needle. It was built for the World's Fair as someone's vision of how buildings might look in the future. (Maybe they watched "The Jetsons" a lot.) Anyway, it provides great views of the city.

We happened to go on a relatively clear day. (As a side note, Seattle has a reputation for being rainy. It doesn't really get that much rain. It's just overcast most of the time.)

We also took a nice boat tour around the Seattle area. We learned lots of little tidbits about the city which were all forgotten by the time we awoke the next day. But, it was entertaining and it's always nice to be out on the water.
